Phoenix and Scottsdale Botox Training Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your Phoenix Botox certification course held?
Our Phoenix Botox certification and Scottsdale Botox training takes place at the Courtyard Marriott Salt River in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Salt River location offers easy access from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Scottsdale Airport, and the surrounding North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Mesa, and Phoenix metro areas. The address and full venue details are sent to registered participants prior to the live training date. The location is selected for adequate hands-on space, professional clinical setup, and convenience for both local Arizona providers and out-of-state attendees flying in for the certification.
What is the difference between Botox training and Botox certification in Phoenix?
The two terms are often used interchangeably, but there is a meaningful distinction. “Botox training” refers to the educational instruction itself — the curriculum, hands-on practice, and clinical mentorship. “Botox certification” refers to the formal documentation issued after successful completion that demonstrates you have completed accredited training in botulinum toxin injection. Our Phoenix Botox certification program provides both: comprehensive training and two CME-accredited certificates that hospitals, medspas, malpractice carriers, and employers recognize for credentialing purposes. Without genuine CME accreditation, a “certificate” is simply paper. Triple accreditation through ACCME, AANP, and ANCC is the credential that actually counts for license renewal and professional liability insurance audits.
Is your Scottsdale Botox training accredited for nurses and nurse practitioners?
Yes. Our Scottsdale Botox training is triple-accredited through the joint providership of Global Education Group and PracticalCME, LLC. Registered nurses receive ANCC contact hours (7.25 including 4.75 pharmacotherapeutic hours), nurse practitioners receive AANP contact hours (7.25 including 4.7 pharmacology hours), and physicians and physician assistants receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Total available credit including the live 4.5-hour hands-on session reaches 11.75 hours for those completing the full FAST TRACK program. These are the credit types accepted by state nursing boards, hospital credentialing committees, and malpractice insurance carriers for aesthetic procedure documentation.
What is included in the Phoenix Botox certification course tuition?
Tuition includes the full FAST TRACK blended training format: triple-accredited online curriculum (7.25 CME/CEU hours) with two years of access and free updates, the live 4.5-hour small-group hands-on training session in Scottsdale, 20 units of Botox A neuromodulator for your supervised hands-on injections, up to 1 cc of Juvederm Ultra XC hyaluronic acid filler for filler hands-on, all consumable supplies, two CME certificates (one for the online portion and one for the live hands-on), and ongoing post-course email support from MD faculty. Unlike many Arizona Botox training programs, there are no separate fees for the toxin or filler used during your hands-on practice, no required memberships, and no upsells for “advanced” or “Level 2” courses.
How many people attend the Phoenix Botox training class?
Our Phoenix Botox certification classes are capped at five participants per session, with most classes averaging three or four. This small-group format is deliberate. With five or fewer providers per MD instructor, every attendee receives one-on-one supervised injection time with our faculty on a live patient you bring with you. Larger Phoenix Botox training programs that pack 15 or 20 providers into a single session cannot offer this individualized attention, and hands-on time per attendee is dramatically reduced. The small-group structure is what makes the educational experience genuinely effective — questions get answered, technique adjustments happen in real time, and providers leave confident rather than confused.
Can I take Phoenix Botox training and Scottsdale dermal filler training on the same day?
Yes. Our standard Phoenix Botox and Scottsdale dermal filler training are combined into a single live hands-on day from 8 AM to 12:30 PM, with the Botox portion in the morning and the filler portion immediately following. Both certifications are earned in a single trip to Scottsdale at a tuition of $2,695. Participants can also add same-day PRP and microneedling certification from 1 PM to 5 PM to make it a four-procedure day — Botox, dermal filler, PRP, microneedling, and exosomes all certified in 23 total CME hours combining the online and live components. The four-procedure bundle is currently priced at $4,290 (sale from $4,790). This is the most efficient training day available anywhere in Arizona for providers entering aesthetic medicine.
Do I need to be Arizona-licensed to attend Phoenix Botox training?
No. Our Phoenix Botox certification course is open to medical professionals licensed in any U.S. state, not just Arizona. Many of our Scottsdale Botox training attendees travel from neighboring states (California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado) for the convenience of the Phoenix location and the availability of small-group instruction. Arizona-licensed naturopathic medical doctors (NMDs), dentists, and other state-recognized prescribers may also attend the online portion and perform hands-on procedures within their legal scope of practice in Arizona. All participants must hold an active U.S. medical, nursing, or applicable license to participate in hands-on injection.
How does Phoenix Botox certification compare to online-only Botox training?
Online-only botulinum toxin training provides excellent foundational education in pharmacology, anatomy, treatment design, and complication management, and is appropriate for some providers — particularly those who already have access to local hands-on mentorship in their own practice. However, providers entering aesthetic injection for the first time benefit substantially from supervised hands-on injection on live patients before treating their own. Our FAST TRACK Phoenix Botox certification combines the convenience of self-paced online learning (begin watching tonight) with a single in-person Scottsdale training day, giving providers both the didactic foundation and the supervised hands-on confidence in one program. If you initially purchase the online course and decide to add live training later, your full online tuition is applied toward any live date reserved within two years.
What if the Scottsdale Botox training date I want is sold out?
Phoenix and Scottsdale Botox training dates regularly sell out, especially during fall and spring scheduling windows. PracticalCME holds only around 100 live training seats in Botox and Dermal Filler training annually across all locations, so the small-group format means demand often exceeds availability. If your preferred date is full, two options are available. First, you can register for the next available Scottsdale Botox training date and begin the online portion immediately — your access starts the day you register, so you can complete the accredited online certification and earn your first of two CME certificates before the live date. Second, in some cases we open additional Phoenix Botox certification dates based on demand. Use the live chat function on the page if your preferred date is sold out and you have schedule constraints.
Is Phoenix Botox training recognized for Arizona scope of practice requirements?
Arizona has clarified that registered nurses and advanced practice registered nurses performing aesthetic injection procedures should complete CME-accredited training in the procedures they perform. Our Phoenix Botox certification provides triple-accredited continuing education (ACCME, AANP, and ANCC) through Global Education Group, which is the type of credit accepted by the Arizona Board of Nursing for scope of practice documentation, medical director oversight requirements, and malpractice insurance credentialing. Non-accredited “certifications” may not satisfy Arizona Board of Nursing requirements. The certificate documents the educational content completed and the credit hours earned. Scope of practice for injection procedures remains determined by Arizona licensing boards and your supervising physician where applicable — the course does not change scope of practice independently.
Botox Training Scottsdale Courses for Nurses, Physicians and Nurse Practitioners are taught by PracticalCME throughout the year. PracticalCME’s FAST TRACK ™ Online plus Live Blended learning allows participants to learn the material at home at your own pace prior to the live hands-on training date. Therefore, you will be fully confident in your knowledge, and earn your first of two CME certificates before you even attend the live Phoenix class date. Then, at the live date you will experience…
- All MD Faculty with at least 10 years’ experience
- Maximum of 5 Participants per live hands-on class
- One-on-One Supervised Injection of your own Patient
- Botox ® and Juvederm ® is supplied for each attendee to use at no additional cost.
- Complete Post-Training Support (email contact, customizable consent forms)

Our blended dual-certification online + live training leads the industry. As a result, PracticalCME has earned an average of 4.8 stars in reviews from actual attendees since our first blended FAST TRACK Botox Training Course was held in 2014. In addition, we have paired up our Botox and Dermal Filler Training with Cosmetic Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) so that you can certify in both at the same live training date, because we know your time is valuable.
Why are PracticalCME Scottsdale Aesthetic Training Attendees More Successful?
Our Scottsdale Botox Training Course focuses on customizing the treatment plan to the patient’s own movement, and never follows a “cookbook” approach. For example, we teach a different dilution and precise muscle identification techniques so you can truly isolate the true cause of the patient’s wrinkles and effectively stop the clock on their aging process even on your first few patients, without having to see the patient back for touch-up treatments. The online course material drills these techniques home with additional treatment videos demonstrating the best technique prior to your live hands-on training class.
Our Dermal Filler Training Course curriculum focuses on using less product but at the proper depth to achieve the most natural filling of static folds and wrinkles of the face, in addition to the most natural lip reinflation techniques. Moreover, you will be impressed with the results when simply using the right technique and depth at your supervised hands-on treatment session. Their folds and wrinkles will disappear before your eyes while your patient remains comfortable.
As a result, PracticalCME has heard from many RN’s who took our training and taught their supervising physicians a few things upon return to the office.
