Cancellation
In the unlikely event that a course has to be cancelled, PracticalCME shall offer the attendee the ability to transfer their registration to a different date or offer a refund of the live tuition paid. If the attendee received the video version of the course or the course is a FAST TRACK (TM) training course, the live tuition paid shall be the difference of the total tuition minus the list price of the video version of the course. PracticalCME shall not be held responsible for weather delays and other acts of God that may render the venue or PracticalCME or members of its faculty unable to produce the live event at the promised date, time, and location advertised. PracticalCME is not liable for any transportation costs or other costs incurred by a prospective attendee in the event of a course cancellation.
INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURE: In the event of possible inclement weather on the date of training, PracticalCME will issue a status update by email as soon as the situation is known. If our faculty and team can attend a course from out of town on that date , then you are expected to attend as well. If the faculty cannot attend (due to National Weather Service Watch or Warning and flight cancellation on the day prior to the course), you will be entitled to reschedule the course to a different date or city, or a refund of the live course tuition amount (this is the difference between the tuition paid for the live date, and the corresponding video course tuition which you have already received as part of your live tuition).

Hands-On FAST TRACK (TM) Courses
Both the BTX/Fillers and Sclerotherapy courses are FAST TRACK(TM) courses. This course provides the video version and printed syllabus book to the attendee in advance of the live training course. This course and post-test must be watched in its entirety prior to the live lecture date. At the live lecture date a condensed version of the lecture is reviewed followed by Q&A and then hands-on demonstration. For Sclerotherapy, the hands-on demonstration requires a patient brought by one or more attendees with spider and reticular veins that require treatment. For the BTX/Fillers course, the attendee can practice with real BTX-A and HA filler on a patient of his choosing who the attendee makes available on the day at the site of the course, or on one of the other class participants based on availability. PracticalCME does not guarantee the availability of a patient to practice on in any of our injectable training hands-on courses if an attendee does bring a patient.
Providers who purchase the 20-minute private hands-on training session will receive one-on-one hands on instruction and should provide a suitable patient for treatment for that session. The availability of a suitable patient is the sole responsibility of the attendee. Suitable patients should have an assortment of spider and reticular veins to treat and an absence of varicose (skin-colored bulging veins). The patient should also not be taking any blood thinners. If you have any questions about the suitability of a training patient, email us at info@practicalcme.com.
Cancellation/Changes
Your paid registration for any live training course is a contract which secures a limited space in advance. We are unable to offer refunds for any live course attendance date that has been already paid for by the attendee. In certain circumstances, PracticalCME may allow a registrant to transfer a live course registration to the same course on a different date on a space available basis, but is not obliged to do so.
Online courses are deemed delivered in full once your online account is created and no changes or cancellations can be made after that point as you have already had access to the entire content that you paid for.

Practice of Medicine
PracticalCME’s courses are open to any medical provider who can benefit from the knowledge gained in these courses to improve their own patient care. This includes MD’s, DO’s, NP’s, PA’s, and RN’s. Acceptance into a PracticalCME course does not supersede the laws of any country or state regarding the practice of medicine nor does it allow an unqualified provider to be “legal” in any jurisdiction. It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to ensure that they can legally practice the service in their home jurisdiction before registering for a PracticalCME Training Course. There are no refunds for attendees who turn out to be non-candidates or not qualified to perform a particular procedure or service based on their level of licensure in their home jurisdiction. Non-licensed medical providers and other office staff members can audit any PracticalCME Training Course for a nominal fee if they attend with a paying provider. These non-medical course auditors will not receive a syllabus book or certificate. PracticalCME reserves the right to disallow any hands-on practice for any procedure for any attendee who cannot legally perform the procedure in the jurisdiction of the live course.
Medicine is part art and part science. PracticalCME teaches protocols and boundaries. It is the sole responsibility of the provider to follow the protocols and take the utmost care in evaluating and treating their patients and using the judgment of a qualified provider. Any provider who feels he/she is not qualified to begin practicing any service learned from PracticalCME should contact PracticalCME for further training options. Moreover, any PracticalCME live course attendee or video course purchaser shall hold PracticalCME and any individual instructors working on behalf of PracticalCME harmless for any professional liability damages incurred in conjunction with the attendee’s practice of medicine indefinitely.
