Attend the Best Phoenix PRP Training with Microneedling Hands-On and Practice Confidently!

Small Group Hands-on Botox Injection Training, Botox Training, Filler Training, taught by a Physician in a course with CME accreditation.

You are only taught by MD’s who have built successful full-time aesthetic practices.  Learn from Physicians who have hired and supervised aesthetic RN’s and NP’s, not traveling social media personalities with little experience building a successful real-world practice.

Importantly, PracticalCME teaches no “Advanced” level courses.  You learn everything that works and is in demand from our one comprehensive PRP/Microneedling course.

In addition, NP’s cannot be trained by RN’s and MD’s cannot be trained by NP’s or RN’s in an accredited CME environment.  Unaccredited training will not be accepted by your professional liability insurance.  We have had to re-train hundreds of students who wasted their time with unaccredited training in the past.

With PracticalCME, you get Premium, Small-Group Platelet Rich Plasma Training that fully certifies you to have the skills to out-perform your competition and support for 2-Years at no extra charge. All of this for about the same price as the unaccredited, non-transparent, large group, nurse-taught Botox training programs.

See how PracticalCME compares side-by-side to other training programs.

Your faculty in Phoenix is gregory-p-zengo-medical-director-practicalcme Gregory Zengo, MD who has injected over 1.5 million units of Botox and has done Dermal Filler Injections for 22 years. He has been a medical director of 3 different medspas and has hired and worked with numerous NP’s and RN’s in aesthetics outside of PracticalCME.  His journey to aesthetics began after a successful career as Chief Resident of the nation’s second largest OB/GYN residency to become the youngest Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine, and a career in private practice and academic medicine.  As the lead medical director of PracticalCME since 2008, he remains in charge of CME accreditation and the online curriculum in addition to teaching live at 4 hands-on sites. Finally, Dr. Zengo also authored the world’s first CME-accredited course on PRP and Microneedling in 2014, and PDO Threads in 2018.

Dr. Zengo is licensed in Arizona and 5 other states.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions About PRP & Microneedling Training in Phoenix / Scottsdale

Is the Phoenix PRP and microneedling course triple-accredited for CME credit?

Yes. The Regenerative Aesthetics™ online module included with your Phoenix registration carries triple accreditation: AMA (for physicians and PAs), AANP (for nurse practitioners), and ANCC (for registered nurses). PracticalCME created the first-ever CME-accredited cosmetic PRP and microneedling training in 2014, and the curriculum has been continuously expanded with 60+ peer-reviewed references. This is especially relevant in Arizona, where recent scope of practice clarifications require CME-accredited training for nurses and APRNs performing aesthetic procedures.

Who teaches the Phoenix PRP and microneedling certification course?

Both the online course and the live hands-on in Phoenix are taught by Gregory Zengo, MD, PracticalCME’s medical director, who is licensed in Arizona. Dr. Zengo has over 22 years of aesthetic injection experience, has injected over 1.3 million units of Botox, and authored the world’s first CME-accredited PRP and microneedling curriculum in 2014. Having the same MD instructor for both your online learning and your live hands-on ensures seamless continuity from theory to practice.

Where is the Phoenix PRP training held, and how large are the classes?

The hands-on takes place at the Courtyard Marriott Salt River in Scottsdale, a convenient location for attendees from across the Phoenix metro area, the East Valley, and surrounding Arizona communities. Each session has a maximum of 6 students with an average of 4, ensuring personalized MD supervision during your microneedling hands-on.

Can I add Botox and dermal filler certification on the same day in Phoenix?

Yes. PracticalCME’s Phoenix schedule offers Botox and dermal filler hands-on in the morning starting at 8am, followed by PRP and microneedling at 1pm, giving you up to four procedure certifications and 23 contact hours in a single Saturday. The 4-Procedure FAST TRACK® bundle includes a significant discount over registering separately, and 0% financing through Affirm is available at checkout.

What do I complete before attending the live Phoenix hands-on date?

You complete the 7.75-hour ACCME-accredited streaming online course at your own pace before your Saturday hands-on. You receive instant access the moment you register, so many attendees start learning the same evening. The online module covers PRP biology, centrifugation protocols, microneedling technique, exosome therapies, patient selection, and complication management. After passing the post-test you download your first CME certificate, then earn your second hands-on certificate at the live session in Scottsdale with Dr. Zengo.

What hands-on procedures will I perform at the Phoenix PRP and microneedling training?

At the Phoenix hands-on you will perform multi-depth medical microneedling one-on-one under direct MD supervision from Dr. Zengo. Because the Phoenix course is held at the Courtyard Marriott in Scottsdale rather than a clinical office, PRP cannot be spun on-site. However, Dr. Zengo will walk you through full PRP treatment planning, injection mapping, and case design so you are fully prepared to perform PRP treatments in your own practice. PRP preparation and injection technique are covered in depth during the online course you complete before attending.

Phoenix PRP Hands-On Courses for Nurses, Physicians and Nurse Practitioners are taught by PracticalCME throughout the year. PracticalCME’s FAST TRACK ™ Online plus Live Blended learning allows participants to learn the material at home at your own pace prior to the live hands-on training date. Therefore, you will be fully confident in your knowledge, and earn your first of two certificates before you even attend the live Phoenix class date. Then, at the live date you will experience…

Our blended dual-certification online + live training leads the industry. As a result, PracticalCME has earned an average of 4.8 stars in reviews from actual attendees since our first blended FAST TRACK Botox Training Course was held in 2014. In addition, we have paired up our Botox and Dermal Filler Training with Cosmetic Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) so that you can certify in both at the same live training date, because we know your time is valuable.

Why are PracticalCME Scottsdale Aesthetic Training Attendees More Successful?

Our training in Cosmetic PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) debuted in 2014 and was the first CME approved certification course ever. Because over 60 live links to the primary literature, treatment videos and customizable consent forms, support the online FAST TRACK curriculum, the course will prepare you to offer this exciting new procedure to your patients. Then, at the live hands-on training date for PRP, you will dive deeper into indications and patient selection for the procedure and perform a variable-depth microneedling treatment on your patient with one-on-one, MD supervision.

Space is limited, So Register Today and Begin Learning Tonight

Each live date is limited to 6 participants before it is marked SOLD OUT. In fact, PracticalCME has only around 100 live training seats in PRP Training annually. Our award-winning, all-MD faculty take time away from their own successful practices to teach only a few times a year. This is why so many people travel to experience our small-group, in-depth blended online + live certification. Therefore, if the next Phoenix live training is sold out, scroll down and register now for the next open date. Then, you will receive your online content and can still begin learning and earning your first certification tonight.

At PracticalCME, we provide quality courses to help you learn more about cosmetic procedures. If you want more information about our injection training, keep reading! We answer some of your most-asked questions about our training course in the section below.

The PRP facelift (also known as a Vampire Facelift (TM) is a combination of using hyaluronic acid dermal filler plus freshly spun platelet-rich plasma at the same treatment.

The PRP facial (also known as a “Vampire Facial”) is a medical microneedling performed using freshly drawn platelet-rich plasma on the skin as the lubricant.

One should only trust a Cosmetic PRP course that is fully approved with AMA level CME credits to ensure completeness and lack of bias. The PracticalCME course includes video clips of the procedure and live links to over 60 studies from the medical literature to support our protocols.

The PRP certification course is open to RN’s, NP’s, PA’s, MD’s, DO’s and Dentists.

The combination of microneedling with PRP has been shown to help skin glow, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, uniformity and, when done on a regular basis, even acne scarring.

Yes! Our live office-based platelet-rich plasma training courses include demonstrations of PRP facelifts, microneedling, or both.

If you choose our live hotel-based training course, you can enjoy a demonstration of microneedling.  Office-based trainings offer both spun-blood PRP demonstration along with microneedling hands-on.

PracticalCME has been a leader in small-group, hands-on platelet-rich plasma training since 2008. Since we want to take our trainees’ learning to the next level, we offer a complete microneedling curriculum as part of our PRP courses.

As a result, those who take our PRP training courses will learn everything they need to know about two of the most sought-after injectable cosmetic treatments through a single certification program.

In addition, our courses are taught only by MD instructors with at least 10 years of experience. We are fully committed to never canceling a class and offering plenty of resources to help you build your career as a PRP treatment provider.

Yes, we do! Our microneedling and PRP training is suitable for medical professionals, including registered nurses (RNs) and nurse practitioners.

Doctors, MDs and DOs, physician assistants, and other medical professionals can also take our PRP training courses.

Also, non-US licensed providers can take our online course, but our hands-on training is only open to US residents.

At PracticalCME, we want to help medical professionals learn everything they need to know about PRP procedures through comprehensive training. However, our courses are not like the rest.

We offer FAST TRACK blended training on platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, combining online course material with hands-on practice.

In addition, our platelet-rich plasma training courses are backed by the gold standard in CME certification.

No, they aren’t! As mentioned, we take a blended approach for our platelet-rich plasma training, so our courses include online content (videos and links to high-quality resources) with hands-on sessions.

Our hands-on courses on platelet-rich plasma (PRP), also known as autologous platelet-rich plasma, are semi-private. These sessions are limited to six providers per MD instructor in order to offer personalized, one-on-one training.

With our blended courses, medical professionals can learn everything they should know about platelet-rich plasma procedures, wound healing, face lifting, hair regrowth, and many other benefits related to PRP therapy.

Additionally, our course material contains valuable information on cosmetic PRP facial and microneedling techniques, FDA-approved PRP isolation devices, and the growth factors present in platelets, which include the following:

    • PDGF (Platelet derived growth factor)
    • VEGF- (Vascular endothelial growth factor)
    • PDAF-(Platelet-derived angiogenesis factor)
    • EFG-(Epidermal growth factor)
    • FGF-(Fibroblast growth factor)
    • IGF-(Insulin Growth Factor)
    • TGF-α&β (Transforming Growth alpha and beta)
    • TGF-β (Transforming growth factor beta)
    • TGF-β CTGF/CCN2 (Connective tissue growth factor)

Many factors make our PRP course unique, such as the following:

    • Comprehensive material on PRP facelift and facial in just one training program
    • Printable online CME certificate after passing post-test and additional 7 hour CME certificate after attending live hands-on classes
    • Semi-private classes
    • Opportunities to perform medical microneedling and administer PRP injections during the hands-on practice
    • No sponsors controlling the course’s curriculum
    • Content taught by experienced MDs
    • Learn at your own pace
    • Downloadable customizable consents and patient instruction forms
    • Free updates for two years

Yes, we can! One of our main goals is to provide safe, evidence-based training before, during, and after the live hands-on practice date. In addition, our physician faculty members are willing to support students as they transition to providers of PRP treatments.

Platelet-Rich Plasma itself has no status with the FDA as it is a natural product, however, PRP isolation equipment must be cleared by the FDA as a Class 2 device for sale in the USA.

We discuss all FDA-cleared devices in our online course.

Here is more information from the FDA.

Microneedling as a procedure requires providers to use equipment that is FDA-cleared for use.

There are only a handful of pens cleared for this purpose and our online course discusses all of them.

For more information see the FDA page.
