Physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and dentists licensed to perform injectable aesthetic procedures within their state scope of practice. Others are experienced injectors seeking formal CME credentials for liability insurance, hospital credentialing, or medspa employment. Who Teaches in Orlando
Live hands-on training in Orlando is led by Theresa Huyen, MD, a residency-trained internist with over 8 years of botulinum toxin and dermal filler injection experience. Dr. Huyen is the founder and medical director of Transform Aesthetic Center in New Smyrna Beach, FL, which also serves as PracticalCME’s dedicated Central Florida training site. She has extensive experience training and supervising aesthetic nurses and nurse practitioners. Your online course instructor is Gregory Zengo, MD, PracticalCME’s founder and lead medical director since 2008 with over 1.5 million units of botulinum toxin injected and 22 years of filler experience, trained by Dr. Jean Carruthers in 2001.
Travel to Orlando
PracticalCME’s Orlando training site is located in New Smyrna Beach, FL, approximately one hour from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB). The site is directly accessible from I-95 and is convenient for attendees driving in from Orlando, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Tampa, and the Space Coast. Attendees traveling from out of state typically arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday morning. Many combine training weekend with time to explore Central Florida’s beaches and attractions.
The ACCME Triple Accreditation Advantage
As of June 1, 2026, PracticalCME’s Orlando Botox and Filler training is ACCME triple-accredited, awarding direct contact hours in three accreditation systems simultaneously: AMA Category 1 Credit for physicians and PAs, AANP contact hours including dedicated pharmacology hours for nurse practitioners, and ANCC contact hours including pharmacotherapeutic hours for registered nurses. These are direct credit hours in each system, not equivalency conversion credits. For NPs and RNs who face state board requirements for pharmacology-specific continuing education, the 4.7 and 4.75 pharmacology hours satisfy those requirements in a single course.
