What You Learn

The online course covers 11 neurotoxin indications: glabellar lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, brow lift, bunny lines, upper lip “lip flip,” gummy smile, DAO lip corners, chin dimpling, platysma bands, and facial slimming. Filler training covers nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and complete lip design with both border and body injections. All six FDA-approved neuromodulators are reviewed: Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify, and Letybo. Vascular occlusion recognition and hyaluronidase management are included. No separate “advanced” or “Level 2” course is needed.

Who Should Attend

The course is built for physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and dentists. Attendees range from complete beginners launching aesthetic services to experienced injectors who need accredited documentation for credentialing or insurance. Attendees are responsible for practicing within the scope of their own state license.

Who Teaches the Boston Course

Your live hands-on instructor is Wynne Huang, MD, a board-certified family physician licensed in Massachusetts and the founder of Caring For All and Radiant Medispa. A graduate of Boston University’s accelerated seven-year medical program, she completed her Family Medicine residency at Tufts University, where she served as Chief Resident. She received Tufts’ Dr. Ylisabeth “Libby” Bradshaw Teaching Award in 2020 and has over a decade of aesthetic practice experience.

The online course is taught by Gregory Zengo, MD, PracticalCME’s founder and medical director since 2008. He trained in botulinum toxin under Dr. Jean Carruthers in 2001 and has injected over 1.5 million units of neurotoxin since.

Getting to Winchester, MA

Winchester is about 8 miles north of downtown Boston, between I-93 and I-95 (Route 128). It is roughly 20 to 30 minutes from Logan International Airport on a Saturday morning, and the MBTA Commuter Rail Lowell Line stops at Winchester Center and Wedgemere. Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is another option. Most New England attendees drive in the same morning. Those flying in from farther away usually arrive Friday evening. The exact address and parking details arrive with your registration confirmation.

The Triple-Accreditation Advantage

The online course is accredited for 7.25 hours through the joint providership of Global Education Group and PracticalCME. That means AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians and PAs, AANP contact hours (including 4.7 pharmacology hours) for nurse practitioners, and ANCC contact hours (including 4.75 pharmacotherapeutic hours) for registered nurses. The live session is a separate, non-CME practicum documented with a 4.5-hour Hands-On Certificate of Completion. Licensing boards, medical directors, and malpractice carriers look for accredited training when you add injectables to your practice.
