What’s New in the 2026 Regenerative Aestheticsā¢ Online Course?
PracticalCME is proud to announce the official launch of our fully redesigned Regenerative Aestheticsā¢ online certification course, a 7.75-hour, self-paced streaming program covering PRP (platelet-rich plasma), microneedling, and exosome therapies for aesthetic applications. This course replaces our previous PRP and microneedling online module with an entirely new curriculum built from the ground up for the absolute highest level of accreditation for our physician, PA, nurse and Nurse Practitioner attendees.
The most significant upgrade is triple accreditation. The new course is jointly provided by Global Education Group and PracticalCME, LLC, and is accredited through the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). For the first time, a single PRP and microneedling online course now awards recognized continuing education credits to physicians (AMA PRA Category 1 Creditsā¢), nurse practitioners (AANP contact hours), and registered nurses (ANCC contact hours) ā plus PA reciprocity through AAPA. No matter your license type, you earn accredited CME from the same evidence-based program.

What the Course Covers

The curriculum spans platelet biology and tissue regeneration, PRP preparation and activation protocols, clinical applications in facial rejuvenation, hair restoration and scar treatment, microneedling mechanisms and device selection, emerging biologic therapies including exosomes, safety and complication management, and regulatory and scope-of-practice considerations. Online-Only or Blended with Live Hands-On
The online course can be taken as a standalone certification ā ideal for providers who already have injection experience or a local supervising physician who can provide hands-on mentorship. For those who want direct MD-supervised hands-on training, the online course also serves as the prerequisite for PracticalCME’s live Regenerative Aestheticsā¢ hands-on sessions, offered in 13 cities nationwide. At clinical office sites, attendees spin PRP, perform PRP injection, and complete microneedling hands-on. At hotel-based sites, attendees perform microneedling hands-on with full PRP treatment planning. Either way, you earn two separate certificates: one for the online course and one for the live hands-on.
Who Is Eligible?
The course is open to physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) in Washington, California, and Arizona are also eligible for the online course. Non-US licensed providers and other licensure types such as aestheticians may enroll in the online course but are not eligible for hands-on training in the United States.
