Learn the Science and Technique of Modern Cosmetic Vein Treatment

We strive to give you the most comprehensive one-day course in vein treatment anywhere. From using the new sclerosant foams to advances in identifying feeder veins with trans-illumination, you will be fully prepared to treat patients with cosmetic venous disorders immediately.
Our highly-rated course in sclerotherapy covers all of the bases. We introduce you to the most advanced sclerosants (no painful saline!) and the injection technique that makes the treatment virtually painless for the patient. Our discussion of venous anatomy and the initial patient consultation will give you the skills you need to become confident in the evaluation of every potential patient. You will learn how to recognize and treat the hard-to-see veins that feed the spider complexes to improve results. We will use videos and live demonstrations to illustrate the proper technique. While we aim to teach you how to treat all cosmetic leg veins with inexpensive sclerotherapy, we will also review the role of lasers in cosmetic vein treatment. A technique like sclerotherapy requires hand-eye coordination and practice. While you can learn sclerotherapy in a lecture setting, there is no substitute for treating a real patient. Subtle differences in needle angle, holding the syringe, and identifying the best vein segments to inject can make the difference between a good vein treatment session and a great one. To assure that you start with the proper technique, sign up for one of our 30-minute hands-on sessions. You will treat your own patient under the direct supervision of our instructor. Practitioners who take this hands-on training report a faster and easier transition when incorporating sclerotherapy into their practice.
